Artnamah is an independent journal of art writing — reviews, critical analysis and biography — from Pakistan and beyond. We make space for slow, considered looking in a fast world.
We publish thoughtful writing across three threads — the review, the critical analysis, and the biography. Together they ask not just whether a work is good, but what it means, where it comes from, and the life that made it.
Our contributors are critics, historians, curators and artists who care about language as much as they care about images. We believe criticism is a form of attention — and attention is a form of care.
